If you would like to attend the 43rd Annual Scientific Congress of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, please download the Registration Form, complete it and bring it with you to the congress (along with payment).

Important Notes:
- Orthoptists must register with Orthoptics Australia. Please visit www.orthoptics.org.au.
- Early Bird Rate:
To qualify for early bird registration, registration fees must be received by the 30 September 2011. Registration fees are based on date of payment receipt, not the date of receipt of registration form. - Standard vs. Late Rate:
Late fees will apply to registrations and/or payments received after 2 November 2010. Please note that to quality for Standard fees, registration and payment of registration must be received by no later than 2 November 2010. - Member Rates:
To qualify for member rates, you must be a member of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. Your membership status will be verified upon registration. Please contact RANZCO directly for further details at ranzco@ranzco.edu or visit to www.ranzco.edu.
If your application for membership is still in process, you don’t have to wait for receipt of confirmation of your membership status in order to register at the member rate for the congress. We will check your membership status closer to the congress date, or you can send an email to ranzco2011@thinkbusinessevents.com.au once your membership is confirmed by the College. - Day Registration Rates:
Delegates can only purchase ONE day registrations. If more than one day registration is required, the delegate needs to purchase a FULL registration.
Payment
All congress payments must be received prior to the congress. If payment is not received you will be required to provide your personal credit card details at the congress to guarantee payment. This card will be debited if alternative payment is not received within 14 days.
We accept payment by:
- Cheque, made payable to “RANZCO 2011”
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Amex)
All amounts in the registration form are in Australian dollars (AUD$) and include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST), except for the accommodation deposit where the GST will be included in the final balance of accommodation paid on check out.
Once your registration has been processed receipt of payment will be emailed to you, to the email address you provide as contact in your registration.
Previously Registered
If you have registered online, you can use your Access Key to add/change details to your registration, and print an invoice.

- Go to “Print Options”
- Select “View PDF” (from here you can view/print the invoice)
Forgot Access Key
Insurance
Insurance of any kind is NOT included in registration fees – it is advised that delegates take out appropriate health and travel insurances prior to travelling. The Congress Committee, the College nor the Congress Office do not take any responsibility for delegates failing to insure.
Disclaimer
The Congress and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the Congress, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The RANZCO 2011 Congress, Congress Organising Committee and the Congress Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the RANZCO 2011 Congress, Congress Organising Committee and Congress Organisers will not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays.
Delegates are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Congress does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings, theft or damage to belongings.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations received in writing at the Congress Office by 13th October 2011 will be accepted and all fees refunded less an AUD$100 administrative fee. Changes to registration from a full registration to a day registration will also incur an administrative fee of AUD$25.
Cancellations received after 13th October 2011 cannot be accepted and will not be refunded, however transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. The full name and details of the person that will replace you must be advised in writing to the Congress Office prior to the Congress.
No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Congress.
Cancellations for Social Events received in writing at the Congress Office by 13th October 2011 will be accepted and all costs refunded. Cancellations received after this date cannot be accepted and will not be refunded.
Privacy Statement
The 43rd Annual Scientific Congress of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (the Congress) is bound by and committed to supporting the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
Use of Personal Information
The Congress will collect and store information you provide in your Registration Form for the purposes of enabling us to:
- register your attendance at the Congress;
- assist with administrative and planning purposes;
- plan and develop Congress and other events in the future;
- facilitate your requirements in relation to the Congress; and
- allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the Congress.
The information that you provide in the Registration Form and information provided at any other time during the Congress, including without limitation any feedback obtained during the Congress, will be used by the Congress to offer, provide and continue to improve its congresses and other services.
Congress Delegate List
A delegate list will be posted on the Message Board near the Registration Desk at the Congress. Copies of the list are also available on request from the RANZCO booth and the Registration Desk. The list will not include any personal details and will exclude delegates who have requested privacy.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Congress may disclose some of the information that is collected in the Registration Form such as your name, organisation and its location and your email address to Congress sponsors and exhibitors for marketing purposes.
The Congress will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose unless it would reasonably be expected that such purpose is related to the offer, provision and improvement of the Congress or where such purpose is permitted or required by law. Registrants may withhold consent for disclosure of their contact details to sponsors or exhibitors by contacting the Congress Office or indicating soon the registration form.
