AOVSM
The Australasian Ophthalmology and Vision Science meeting (AOVSM) is being held in parallel with the annual RANZCO meeting, at the Canberra Convention Centre from the morning of Sunday November 20 through to late afternoon on Monday November 21.
The meeting will include three plenary lectures on recent advances in our understanding of the biology of AMD (Peter Bishop Basic Vision Science Lecture); the genetics of eye diseases (Fred Hollows Clinical Vision Science Lecture) and glaucoma (ARC Vision Centre Lecture). Three symposia on AMD, the genetics of eye diseases and ocular imaging are planned, as well as oral and poster presentations.
